Welcome to Melrose Crafts and Company! My name is Mary-Rose and I’m the hands behind the crafts. I love creating things with my hands and combining that love with my passion for events. I first fell in love with crafting at 10 years old when my cousin taught me how to cross stitch. I was amazed my hands were capable of making something so beautiful and I was eager to explore that. Over the years, I got into scrapbooking, crocheting, sewing, costume-making, and event planning. I got my degree in hospitality management and spent the next 12 years of my career managing events in San Francisco & Long Beach.

In 2019, I made the decision to take a step back to serve the needs of my family. The transition was difficult and crafting became therapeutic. I started making paper flowers to hang in my room as a source of joy to brighten up the space.

Melrose Crafts & Co. began as a way to stay connected to the event industry while still being able to tend to my loved ones. It has been a humbling experience. As my personal and creative growth continue, my projects are also evolving with me. Each and every one of these handmade pieces are crafted with love and intention.
